For $200, these earrings should be mind-blowing--especially given that the materials used to make it (crystal, brass) are not expensive. Still, I loved the design so much and I figured for my wedding, I'm willing to splurge if the earring is right. Though a nice weight, and clearly sturdy, what gets me about these earrings is that in person they look like cheap costume jewelry--not at all the elegant pieces they appear to be in the picture. The gold is garish and the rhinestones just look wrong somehow. Worst of all I called customer service before buying these because I know how misleading online photos can be sometimes--and 3 weeks later, after hounding them, I got a disinterested response that nonetheless assured me these would be suitable. Anthropologie, you're losing my faith.
