Brushed Chain Bracelet

Rated 1 out of 5 by I'd been looking for a chunky, gold chain bracelet for a while and when I saw this one pop up on Anthro's website I ordered it immediately. Sorry Anthro, I just can't get behind this one. In person it is somewhat cheap looking -- it is very lightweight, the gold is brassy, and some of the links are clasped off-center. More importantly, after putting it on and wearing it around the house as I got ready for work, the bar came out and it fell off my wrist three times. I thought at first I hadn't fastened it properly, but after the third time -- paying special attention to make sure the bar was all the way through -- I knew it wasn't me. I will say that the length of the bracelet is suitable for us small-wristed ladies. I have a hard time with bracelets because they're always too big for my small wrists and this one, although still large, was short enough so that it wouldn't slip off my hand. I think if the bar was just a tad bit longer this could be a fair piece of costume jewelry, but only at a much lower price point than what has been set. Bottom line: $38 is too much to spend for a bracelet that has the look and feel of something that one would pick up from F21 and that I would end up losing due to poor design. This one is going back. Rated 2 out of 5 by Cheap While I wasn't expecting miracles for the price of this bracelet I guess I just didn't think it would be this cheap looking. It's very lightweight and looks like something my 5 year old daughter has in her play jewelry. In fact, I think she has some that might even look more expensive than this one. Definitely looks better in the picture. May 2, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Cheap quality, weak design I agree with the first two reviewers, this bracelet is cheap to the touch, lightweight and not heavy like an expensive bracelet would feel like. It fell off my wrist after the first time I put it on, but not the second time. I would not take a chance with it at full price. Perhaps after a second markdown would I consider buying this because the only positive things about it is: (1) that the gold flatters my olive skin tone and (2) that the length is small enough for my small wrists. Most bracelets are too long and leave a large gap between it and my wrist, this is perfect! Please don't buy this at full price, it isn't worth it! Wait until it gets marked down a lot! May 23, 2012
