Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE PLATES! I bought the whole set of 8 plates. This includes: the Chameleon, Blowfish, Goldfish, Goose, Praying Mantis, Bumble Bee, Beetles, and Hummingbirds! I've never seen anything so quirky and fun, They are a joy to look at and with a bit of added humor too. I'm only 22 and don't have my own place yet, but someday these will be displayed in my home. I've actually been buying a lot of home items from Anthropologie lately, like pillows to mirrors! Don't let these plates pass you by! I do wish there was matching cups and bowls, but I don't plan on actually using them so I guess it doesn't matter! Too cute to eat off of! September 20, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by My favorite plates! I love all of the Natural World dessert plates. So whimsical and unique! Wonderful details on the front and back. I suggest that you let your dinner guests serve their own dessert so they get to enjoy what the plates look like before food hides the amusing designs. Like another reviewer, I too sometimes use these plates to serve food other than dessert. They are large enough to do so. June 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by our favourite insect! My husband and I have a big organic vegetable and flower garden and we rely in part on the toads, ladybugs, birds and - yes - praying mantises to help us with pest management. When I saw this plate, I had to order some and was not disappointed. The plates are delicate looking, yet very sturdy. They were extemely well packed. We intend to use them as everyday dishes - maybe out in the garden. December 9, 2013

GREEN MOTIF Style #:C073194 Artist Lou Rota was drawn to the beauty of the natural world long before she took the wheel - the pottery wheel, that is. Her passion for entomology was piqued during the early days of her career, which were spent producing science and natural history documentaries. Today, from her West London studio, Rota designs the whimsical bugs, flowers and birds that grace her fine bone china. Here, vintage-inspired curves and flora are centered by an unexpected dinner guest. Natural World Dessert Plate
