Love these dishes!
When these showed up on-line my instant reaction was ‘wow, these are cool’. When I walked by them in the store I did a double take and fell in love. They are even more rustic than they appear on-line (a plus in my opinion). My fear was that the colors and stripes would not go with anything else in my kitchen … I was wrong. They match every one of my latte bowls, they look beautiful mixed and matched with my Nathalie Lete plates. I love the larger lip on the salad plate, those will double as Tapas plates. The large plate is large, just barley fits in my cabinet. If you have shallow cabinets you will need to find another place to store them or the door won’t close all the way. The bowl has the most concentration of color and is smaller than it looks on line.
If you embrace the diversity of a handmade, hand painted collection of items the variations these dishes have will not bother you. I ordered on line and the deepness of the color varies, the stripes on some plates are fuzzy, others are very precise. Some of the plates feature the yellow and green more prominently, other plates the red and blue stands out more. So, ordering on-line will give you a more wildly varied set than picking them out in person.
They have already been used for one meal and run through the dishwasher twice and are non-the-worse for wear. I even banged a plate on my granite counter while pulling it out of the dishwasher without a ding or a crack.

My perfect plate
I've been looking for an eclectic dinner set for the past couple years and saw these in a store today. They are so amazing in person! And like nothing I've seen anywhere else. The perfect mix of rustic, hand-made meets high-end class. The large dish is huge. I can't wait for my next dinner party.

Fantastic size for all sorts!!
I live in Australia and this products made it safely. When I unpacked it, I thought god they are very big for dinner plates, but now I love the little extra size. We have used them for serving platers, cheese platers and dinner plates. My only concern is the colour. In the image the navy stripes and green stripes stand out, but when I saw them in really life the pink and red stripes take over. These colours aren't what I wanted in my mixed plate dinner set, but I still love them.
