Rediscovered Flatware

Rated 1 out of 5 by Very Disappointing I purchased 8 place settings and was very disappointed when I received my package in the mail. The quality is VERY low and although the description online lures you in, really it's just old junk in a cute box. For anyone who knows what they are doing it's best to go to the flea market and pick out the pieces your self. All 40 pieces I received were very poor quality, and would have been better categorized as "used" rather than "vintage." The upside? I was able to return all 8 sets. January 18, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Recycled Flatware - good for the environment... ...and lovely on your table. I knew exactly what I would be purchasing and when I opened each package of flatware, I was excited to see what designs where hiding underneath. They aren't brilliantly finished like new flatware, obviously, but it was fun looking at some of the dates of each piece of flatware. My parents peeked at them and didn't like them as much as I did; I think that the used appearance turned them off. Everything was in fine shape although there was one fork where the silver plating was chipped and I foresee will continue to chip. All in all, I like the concept but the I think the price is a bit pricey for the quality. I do wish they were not so used looking but I do appreciate the true vintage designs of the flatware. Rated 3 out of 5 by Can do better elsewhere:( I am sad to say that I wasn't very impressed with these sets. I have been shopping for antique silver plate for a while now and thought this would be a nice way to get some beautiful pieces/sets. Looking at the sets though, the designs were not what I had hoped. I have done MUCH better myself so I think I will continue hunting on my own and return these. If you are looking for an easy way to get silver sets, this might be for you. But overall, I wasn't impressed with the design or quality. August 18, 2011

ASSORTED Style #:073830 Cake Vintage combed the country to collect some of the prettiest antique and vintage silverware pieces from 1800 - 1940, and then regrouped them into delightfully mismatched sets. The shapes and patterns are randomly assembled; therefore each place setting of two forks, two spoons and one knife is completely unique. Rediscovered Flatware
