Rated 5 out of 5 by NineteenFiftyFour Tip: NO DISHWASHER!
I loved these. Unfortunately, a combination of my stupidity and lack of marking in the Anthro store meant that I threw them right in the dishwasher when I got home, and they were ruined completely. On the web it says "hand wash", but in the store there is no such marking, and I guess I'm just used to modern conveniences. Anyway, I'm posting this in hopes of saving someone else the $24 that I had to throw in the garbage after never having actually used these spoons. Sad.

Yes, they are large and heavy but that's what I like about them -- these won't bend backwards when I scoop out my cookie dough! The design motifs (each spoon is different) are correspondingly chunky, which I like, but if you are expecting to match Grandma's silverware then be warned that these are not "fine" pieces.
Volume: I checked them against my regular measuring spoons and these are accurate.
Size reference: the tablespoon is 7-3/4 inches long, and the eighth-tablespoon is 4-7/8 inches long.

Finally someone has created some unique, yet practical measuring spoons. The quality is great and the design even better. They are easy to use and actually make measuring ingredients more fun for me. Each one is different and I love that. The size of each spoon is printed well and easy to read. These have actually turned into a conversation piece in my kitchen.
So happy to have them and would recommend them for anyone who wants to add something cleaver and unique to their cooking tools collection.
