Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful, but some issues This is a beautiful pitcher. The handle is a bit odd, so I don't actually hold it through the loop when pouring. Although it has been designed by a Southern California ceramist, it is actually produced in China and imported. I was disappointed about that, because I thought it was coming from my own backyard. Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful, but... The graphics on the pitcher are beautiful and the design is unique, but unlike the dinnerware (which is sleek, beautiful and functional) the pitcher is awkward. The bottom 1/3 of the pitcher exterior is not glazed( leaks?) and the handle juts way out. When you pick it up to pour, it is our of balance - you need two hands, and the spout is not tapered to direct the water flow accurately. Not sure if it deserves the space it takes on the buffet. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Pitcher I love the illustrations on this pitcher. It is a bit of an odd shape, but I'm actually using it as a vase. It works just great that way. I believe if it is used as a pitcher, it would be a little strange for pouring. If you want a good pitcher, you might need to look somewhere else. :) July 25, 2013
