I have owned several rugs from Anthropologie, and love their design and unique look. However, this "rug" is more suited for a bed cover or a beach blanket, than for the floor. Someone wrote that it was like a "towel." I've ordered thin rugs from this company before and thought the towel comment may be an exaggeration. It wasn't.
The look is beautiful. The colors are more muted than it shows online (the orange isn't near as vibrant), but overall it is pretty. Even with a thick pad underneath, this is not something that is suited for the floor. I am extremely disappointed with how Anthropologie is marketing this product. Please consider before you buy. I've shipped mine back to return.

by saltlakeurbanite great colors, design, poor quality
It took FOREVER to get here and when it did it arrived in a box: a pretty small box too.
The color is amazing, the pattern is intricate and wonderful, but everyone that has come into our house has described it as more of a blanket than a rug and for $1000 plus shipping I was expecting a pretty great rug--I am keeping it but will not buy another rug(blanket) from Anthropologie--too expensive for what you get

I bought this to replace a rug i have in my living room. I thought the design and colors were extraordinary and beautiful, however, when it arrived in a box, folded up, I realized it was much more of a "tapestry" than a true rug. We have all wood floors and so it does not stay in place, it slips around. we have 2 puppies and whenever they try to jump onto the couch the "rug" pushes back with them and they can't get leverage. that said, it is beautiful in design and i love the colors, so i am keeping it, but i may have to hang it on the wall and buy another rug.
