I bought two of these in dark blue, and they are very cute. The color is fine; it's not a bright blue. I think the analogy to denim (from a previous post) is a good one. The size is also good, as it's difficult to find large nightstands to put next to a king sized bed. The problem is that it's not a high quality piece, and for the price, I was pretty disappointed. I wiped out the drawers with a DRY paper towel, and the blue stain came off on the paper towel, so I definitely had to use drawer liners, and I would never put something like a white sweater in them. There was also a sharp nail sticking out inside one of the drawers. The drawers do not slide easily at all (another sign of poor craftsmanship). Struggling with the drawers everyday is very annoying, especially for how expensive these nightstands/dressers are.

I ordered both the dresser & nightstand. One of the legs of the first dresser we received snapped off in shipping, so we exchanged it. It was a simple process, but it illustrated that the tiny legs are not very durable. It's attractive furniture, with a nice weathered finish that I think will hold up well over time. The greyish blue is very dark, and blends in well with most decor. The drawers stuck badly when we first got them, but some WD 40 fixed that issue. Overall, it pretty furniture, but I was hoping for better quality for the price.

This dresser is so disappointing. Aesthetically, it?s nice looking, but the drawers are not on grooves and don?t open and close well. Also, whatever stain was used on the finish has a horrible smell. When it was delivered I wiped it down with a damp cloth and lit candles to try to dissipate some of the smell. I?ve had it for almost a month now and the smell is still there which means all of the clothes in it end up smelling that way. Frustrated that I spent $700 on such poor quality.
