Rated 4 out of 5 by dreaminks fabulous, but finding a shade is a pain
Love the lampbase,and...
as other reviewers have stated, finding a shade is challenging. I'm now on my third shade and considering the shade from one of the "in room" photos. This will make the total purchase close to, with tax and shipping, just under $500 -- yikes! What price beauty?
Here are some suggestions, Anthro: suggest possible shades that you carry; offer the lamp base at two prices, with or without the lampshade; offer a basic lampshade, compatible with a number of your lamp bases at a lower price. There you have it -- my 2 cents.

This lamp is beautiful, but don't be fooled into thinking that the glass globes are actually colored glass. I have had my lamp for about a year and as I was cleaning it one day I noticed a green substance coming off in my hand. When I looked I saw it was the surface of the glass, which I then saw was cracked all over and chipping away. The green glass globe is not green glass at all, it's clear glass covered in some kind of green film wrapper...sort of like a candy wrapper. The bottom globe now looks awful, with cracks and big sections of the clear glass underneath showing. Needless to say I am disgusted that after paying $300 plus tax for a lamp that doesn't even include a shade, the lamp is such poor quality. I scratched at the upper globes and I think they are real colored glass, but either way, the lamp looks awful and I will be returning it. Sadly, I've had similar experiences with Anthropolgie goods that have fallen to pieces. Lovely products, but expensive for extremely poor quality.

This lamp looks really great but it is way overpriced especially since it does not come with a shade. I would pay $150 for it but not $300. I love you anthropologie but this is not a designer lamp.
