Rated 5 out of 5 by citydweller Great Teapot!
This teapot is absolutely lovely in person! It stopped me in my tracks when I was walking the store looking for something else entirely. The green is a beautiful color, just as pictured. The lid is slightly a different color than the pot, but if you can overlook that this is a great piece.
It is a great size (large) and has substantial weight to it, so it is not overly fragile. I would definitely recommend for any tea lover or elephant lover! I bought it and am in love with it!

I love this teapot - I too saw it in the store and bought it immediately! The store I was in had 3 in stock. The one I bought was almost as emerald green as the one in the tea set picture. (I have yet to see one that dark) The others were more faded. Basically, make sure to examine all of the teapots the store has before buying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by herophelia took three tries, but i'm in love
I want to start this off by warning that it took me three teapots to end up with one I could keep. The first one, there was a crack near one of the legs that let tea leak clean through the pot. When I took it back to the store, they were out of of stock, so I ordered one from the website. This one arrived with the top piece of the lid broken off. I could hear it rattling before I even opened the box. So I drove to another store that had several in stock, carefully examined each one, until I found the exact one I wanted.
The details on this pot are nothing short of magical. I have never seen anything this unique or special and I don't think I ever will again. I use it every time I have someone over, and it never fails to impress. The weight of the pot is nice and solid. I'm not terrified of breaking it with normal usage, however you do have to keep in mind that the nature of the design gives it some natural weak spots. It also holds enough tea to serve four people, which is not true of all Anthropologie pots. I do with that there was a sugar/milk set that went with it, as the colour is very difficult to match and I haven't found anything that works yet. The bottom of the feet are also pretty rough, and will scratch up a wooden table. I recommend getting some of those little felt or rubber pads and putting them on if you plan to get any real use out of this pot. That's what I did and it solved the issue entirely.
