I fell in love with this set as soon as I saw it online. It was actually out of stock, but after a few months, I found it again, actually had some extra money, and ordered it. When I received it, however, I was disappointed. It looks like the top two pieces and the bottom two pieces were made in different locations, and the porcelain on the inside rim of each cup is rough, not smooth. When I realized it said "Made in China" on the bottom, it explained a lot. Overall, I am just disappointed it was not what I thought it was. I was so excited to display this in my kitchen. With Anthropologie's stinky return policy...you pay shipping both ways, it will cost me more than half what I paid just to ship it back.

Everything is adorable about these cups -- the colors, the way they stack into a milk bottle, the raised lettering/numbers on the side.......but they will just sit on my counter because I cannot actually measure out any dry ingredients in these.
The measure to line is well below the top of the cup, so there's no way to level off the dry ingredients. Sometimes I can get away with not being exact, but in most of the baking I do, the stuff has got to be pretty precise. I have seen this same problem in other measuring cups at Anthro, and wish they would get some stylish cups with the measure to line that actually lines up with the top of the cup!
So, that leaves these for liquids, for which I normally use a 2-cup glass measure. These still do look incredibly cute sitting on the counter!

This was the perfect buy for me since I love fun colors & old milk bottles. When stacked, the bottle is about 6" tall. It's stable when stacked & very well made. My only complaint is while the outside & inside of each cup is glazed, the rims around the top of each cup are not. To me this unglazed surface screams future staining, chipping, and cracking. However, I bought this set as pure decoration, so it's a non-issue for me, but something to consider for anyone who plans to use them often.
