Rated 1 out of 5 by Beautiful but Beware!!! Dry Clean Only! This quilt looks lovely, but foolishly I did not read the care instructions before purchasing and washing - it is dry clean only. Maybe in some other economic sphere people send out their bedding to be dry cleaned, but that is way beyond what I would be willing to do, even for something this pretty. I am stuck with a horribly lumpy, hole-ridden, $218 mess (after one wash in a cold water gentle cycle), instead of the long-lived Anthro product I have come to expect after many years of shopping here. This is after all, a cotton quilt with batting - we've been making these things for a long time without requiring dry cleaning. I do not believe this would survive hand washing either based on the condition after one gentle wash cycle. June 24, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by pretty but the quality isn't that good I bought this set in king-sized--the quilt, bed skirt, and shams. The positives are the color and sizing. Everything is just as pretty in person as it looks online. I think the pictures show more of a brighter, white background when it's not a crisp white. It's not quite ivory--somewhere in between. The flowers/leaves, ladybugs & butterflies are bright as shown in the pictures. The bed skirt hits the ground and there's plenty of room for the quilt to hang over the side of the bed. The king-sized shams will fit larger pillows too. I love this print so much that I'm keeping everything even though I know it's not worth what I paid. I love this artist's style so I know I'm really paying for the artwork & not the quality. The negatives are this is a quilt in the loosest sense of the word. It's a comforter with random areas of white thread scattered throughout. The stitches have the knots on the outside of the material so it's a little scratchy and will catch & pull out the thread. I don't know why they even added these loose stitches since the majority is just a flat comforter. Also, the material overall is very thin so I'm not sure how long this will last. I try to switch out my linens with the seasons to make them last longer & match the weather so I'll just use this in spring. Where I live, spring usually has colder temps until June and this comforter/quilt will be good for these months. March 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE !!! I was obsessed with this the minute I saw it, so I wasn't surprised when I saw it was sold out. I was so disappointed but luckily checked back a week later and I'm so happy I did. It arrived yesterday and I am so in love with it! The colors are vibrant and the pattern is beautiful. It is so much nicer in person if that is even possible! It's relatively heavy for a quilt, I would say it is more of a comforter. It kept me warm last night on a chilly NY night. March 4, 2014
