Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Bedding I love love love this quilt. This was my first bedding purchase from Anthropologie and I could not be happier. This quilt makes for a very tranquil setting. I only wish I could use it year round! I have an 80lb labrador who sleeps in bed and the quilt has held up perfectly. August 1, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolutely in LOVE with my bed! This is my first Anthro bedding purchase and I couldn't be happier with it! I knew I needed to find something my husband would be happy with as well and luckily he really liked it! My bed is queen-sized but is rather tall with all the cushion we have on it so I got a King-sized comforter and it's perfect! It hangs down low enough on the sides to my liking. I think the print on the King size is going to be bigger since it's a bigger space to fill so the graphics are a little bigger than a smaller one but it's exactly what I was wanting. This comforter is SUPER WARM and nicely made. The stitching everyone is talking about is not a big deal. I've already had a couple places where the quilt stitching on the top has broken but that's because I have three crazy kids that love my bed too! :) You can't even tell when a stitch has broken and it has nothing to do with the durability of the comforter. I had to really inspect it to notice. So, I wouldn't let that deter you from buying this. One other thing, the bedding description says the color on the trim is purple but it's really more of a royal blue. I was a little concerned about that since I didn't want it to look too girly but it doesn't look purple to me at all. Overall, this is exactly what I was looking for and this is truly one of the best purchases I've made! September 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this bedspread/shams My husband and I are thrilled with the look of the Gila Quilt. We were looking for something that was funky, different, but we had to work with a soft mustard color paint (that I love) AND an old oriental rug that we both love. That's why online shopping is great- we held the laptop in the bedroom with the bedspread pictures on it, and this one just seemed to work (inexplicably). The website showed the colors very accurately. It looks perfect. The quality is good, but the long stitches means that there are lots of ways you could catch a thread and damage the bedspread. Thus, our three kids are NOT allowed on it! Also, I wish it was a bit wider. We got a king, and honestly I feel like all king sized quilts are too narrow, since I like the bedspread to hang down at least to the bedskirt. But that's a more general observation. We are very happy with this quilt! April 26, 2012
