I certainly agree with the other reviews that this dress looks much better in person. It's a nice thick ribbed cotton and the colors look better than in the picture. The small size was too big in the chest and shoulders and was too long. The x-small fit better. I am petite but broad in the shoulders and although the sleeves were snug on both sizes, the neckline and the length were more flattering in the xs. The waist is a little higher than I'm use to but it still fits since I have am short wasted. Overall, it's a form fitting dress with a flattering neckline. I plan to wear this casually with brown boots and hope it will be my go to dress all year.

Liked this dress a lot. It looks better on than the model shot would indicate. The fabric and pattern make it feel like it is a dress made out of a rugby shirt, so that the vibe is very casual and weekend-y. (This is not a soft jersey chemise, it really is like a heavy cotton stretch rugby shirt and so has a more outdoorsy, sporty edge to it.) I found the waist much higher on me than in the product pic, closer to an empire. My regular size M fit well. Would look great with tights and boots.

This chemise is nothing like any other chemises at Anthro currently. I love the Anthro chemises, but I am never daring enough to acutally wear it out. This is the first chemise that I felt comfortable and covered enough to wear anywhere!
I can totally see why this would not be a good option for a slender or slim body type. The fabric is very thick and heavy, and this is exactly what I would want from a dress this style. But it feels and fits beautifully on a more curvy and full body type.
I would say this runs large. I bought a Medium, when I normally go for a Large in Anthro clothing, especially lounge wear.
