Rated 4 out of 5 by fantastic design This dress looks fantastic on and for anyone with a slight tummy the peplum design is perfect. The only drawback, as you can see in the picture, is gaping near the arm holes that can best be fixed by taking up the shoulders. The material is light and the lining helps the dress fall smoothly around a snug, but not tight, fitting skirt. I am 5'2" and 118 lbs, with a medium to large bust and a medium was perfect except for a small gape of material near the armholes. The saleswoman said she used two sided tape to keep the arm holes down before she got hers altered at the shoulders. I would not let the armhole issue deter me from buying this lovely, slightly retro, extremely comfortable dress. It's now my favorite LBD! January 27, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Unexpectedly skimpy I thought this looked just perfect online, not too short, tailored, and classic, but it fell short of all those expectations. The peplum skirt is not long enough, looking juvenile and not well planned. the waist does not nip in at all; instead, the fabric sags down from the armpit to the peplum. Where it's quite clingy is at the skirt. This dress is not cut for an hourglass figure (I'm 5'8'', size 6, 29 inch waist and 39 inch hips) like it appears it should be. The armholes curve in too far towards the bosom, exposing skin where it really shouldn't. This might look good on a woman who would like to create some curves. Regardless, it doesn't provide classy coverage near the arms. All in all, I'm disappointed it didn't work because it looks so perfect online. November 30, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Such a flattering dress This is one of the most flattering dresses I have purchased, and I have purchased a lot of dresses! I am short with a large waist and bust. The peplum hides the larger tummy and flatters my behind! I was trying on several items and this was the one everyone in the fitting room agreed looked the best. It has give and stretch but not so much as to lose its' shape. It looks dressy for an evening out, but with a cardigan, can look good for work. It is the perfect dress! February 1, 2013
