This is one of those treasures that looks better on me than on the hanger-- old-fashioned lace in an eye-popping cobalt blue. It's a perfect "professional knee-length" for office or teaching, but can also go to a party. I am pear-shaped, so was hoping to try on the size large, but all the store had available was small and medium. Amazingly, the medium fit beautifully-- for reference, I am 5'8", 135 lbs, 34-B. The elastic waist fits perfectly, and the slight A-line doesn't hug the wrong spots on me. Fiber-content is 50% cotton/ 50% modal, a combo of sturdy and stretch. Exquisitly elegant, the color of sky, this skirt will go places.

I considered this skirt in the red-orange but passed it up. This time I could not resist. The color is amazing and the movement you get when you walk in this, so much fun. The slip is a bit shorter than the skirt so you get to see the details at the bottom better. I am usually a small or x-small in anthro and they only had a small. It slides on nicely and fits across the back nicely. My only concern is the elastic waist giving out with wear. I am hoping it holds up well because it is unique and fun.

I ran into Anthro today to make a quick return when I saw this amazing skirt on the rack. I cannot tell you how fantastic this skirt is. I bought the green/floral pumps for an upcoming luncheon and had no clue what I was going to wear with them. The answer is this skirt. It's insane - the color (the blue), the fit, and the style. The ways that you can dress it up or down are endless. I'm planning on wearing a more structured white jacket with it, but I can also wear a t-shirt, jean jacket and grecian sandles and I'm good to go. I just can't say enough great things about it. Many times I have had sticker shock at Anthro, but if I can wear something a number of ways, and am able to wear an item often, then I really can justify the price.
