Boardwalk Maxi Dress

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice summer maxi. I was hesitant to order this dress initially, given the so-so reviews. My body type is much different from the ladies who reviewed so I took my chances once it went on sale. I will say I'm pretty tall and straight, so this fits really well. Loose and drapey like on the model and will easily hide any imperfections in my middle. I'm usually a size 4 or S/M at Anthro, 34B, and 5'8" and the small fit great - probably has extra room (which is how I like my clothing to fit). It skims the top of my feet so I can wear flat sandals and not worry about tripping. The quality is very nice, soft cotton, but giving 4 stars because the lining is annoying. Will have to pull it down throughout the day. For taller girls, I'd say this is a hit. March 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by airy and light I am 5'3, 115lbs. PXS fits like a dream. Perfect length, not tight, flows nicely. Has a nice liner that covers your butt/midthigh. Drapes nicely, color is vibrant. Definitely pricey, and maybe not worth the price as the fabric is really light/almost sheer-but I am going on my honeymoon in a week so I kept it-regardless of price. February 15, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not Great I agree with the other review that this is just not a flattering maxi. I'm 5'2" and ordered an XS Petite and had major fit issues all over. First you need a long torso to wear this and have it look anything like the product shot. There's too much fabric in the bodice, and at least on the stripe version, and it doesn't drape nicely enough (too stiff). The waist also hit a little bit high, but if I had gone with a regular vs petite I'd have the same problem. All the extra fabric at the waist plus the pleating at the top of the skirt just resulted in adding 20 extra pounds to the smallest part of my body (the waist!). This could be good on tall, long torsoed ladies. Alas, even in petite it just didn't work. April 3, 2014
