Love this top, it's OH-SO soft and comfy. Perfect every day top and great for busy days where you just want to wear something comfy but cute. Just a disclaimer, though, like everyone else has mentioned, it runs VERY large, so definitely size down! I normally wear a medium, and I went back and forth between small and xs in fitting room today, but opted for small (just could not fathom owning anything in xs I guess haha!!). It's a cute, wearable everyday kind of top, just remember to buy a size or two down! :) Oh, and if possible, try on at the store, because I had to go through a few tops before finding the "perfect" one...some of them puckered a bit on the under layer, which showed through on the thin comfy cotton long sleeve part!

I really love a deep v-neck. I find that as a shorter woman who has a slightly larger than average bustline, this type of neckline is really usually flattering on me. So I was very surprised when I tried this on in-store and it was just really.....how to say this nicely....not flattering in any way, shape or form.
First, the "faux" layer idea is genius in conception, poor in execution. The two tops I tried had very puckered layers, they were just sewn in poorly. I liked the IDEA of a woven rayon layer under but it was very clingy and didn't really sit right with the knit layer on top of it.
The arms are incredibly long on these tops. (At the time I'm writing this review, they are not available in petite, but I know often times this brand will be made available in petite, so please keep in mind I'm writing this for the regular sizes.)
I am sometimes better off with petite length tops but usually can wear regular length tops because while I'm short, I do have longer arms for my size. There were just very difficult to scrunch or roll up. There was SO much fabric.
On me, the pocket was slightly closer to the center of my body and was not flattering.
The best thing I can say about this top was that it was soft, but it looked nothing like the photos in person. Even sizing down, you would be left with a garment that has an arm length that rivals most men's clothing.
Bottom line: A very rare miss from Bordeaux. Even if you didn't have all that fabric to contend with, it's clingy and unflattering and the layers appear to be poorly sewn inside the top, adding to the cling factor. Not good.

I am usually a s/xs petite in Anthro, depending on the brand and style...I ordered the petite S and it's a tent. On the model, the top looks long and lean...the one I received was cut very wide and boxy and I was swimming in it. It was even saggy at the top, so that the pocket was way below my boobs and the neckline was way low and looked stretched out. I'm not sure an XS would have been much better. I'm not sure if mine was mislabeled, or if there was something wrong with it, but I can't imagine that this thing was supposed to fit this way. I'm not a very tiny petite (5'3",) so I've never experienced a Petite size being too long and bulky like this...in fact I can generally wear a regular or petite size...so this was bizarre.
Moving beyond fit, the fabric was a horrible, shiny, slippery icky texture that felt like thick nylon. I can't even explain how fugly this shirt is...it doesn't look ANYTHING like the picture. While I would say size down, I'd be concerned that if this DID fit properly, the fabric is the type that clings to any lumps or bumps and the shiny finish would just enhance anything you might wish to hide.
