I love many things about this dress...it's a nice mix of casual and dressy with the t-shirt top and luxurious skirt, even though I'm not a fan of the sloppy-looking pocket on the t-shirt. It hits slightly below your natural waist, making it look like you're wearing a shirt tucked into a skirt without the bulk or worry that the top will start to come untucked and bunch up. The back of the skirt portion is elasticized and the top was body-skimming but not too tight, making this a forgiving and figure-flattering dress. However, the reason that I put it back on the rack instead of taking it home with me was the stiffness of the skirt and weird pleats. When you stand perfectly still, you'll look stunning. As soon as you move, you will knock one or more of the pleats out of place and because the fabric is so stiff, the skirt will stay pushed out at a weird angle. It wasn't too obvious from the front, but when I looked at myself in profile, it looked like I had a balloon stuffed up the skirt. Too bad the designer couldn't find a better material to use for the skirt.
For reference, I tried on the XS and I am 5'2", 102 pounds, 32A-25-33. The top was a little looser than I would have liked, but the weight of the skirt held it down nicely and I was overall pleased with how it fit. It hit me right at the knee and did not show too much, even with the bottom being see-through.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Timeaftertyme Tee shirt top with a patch pocket, really??
I couldn't wait to see this dress in person, but when I did today, I was shocked at the glaring lack of quality! While admittedly, the skirt is cute, the attached top is a not very high quality t-shirt that looks prone to fading and piling. It's so casual it has the nerve to have one of those tiny pockets over one breast! The skirt sort of juts out from the t-shirt, and the "embroidery" is actually appliques that are not completely tacked down to the skirt. And, don't get me started on the snap potential of the lace bottom. When you sit down, you're sitting on the lace because it's so short! If the skirt were offered alone, I might have considered it and worn it lower on the waist or hip to give it some much needed length. But, the t-shirt really cheapens the look of the skirt in my opinion, so for me it was a pass.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Anthro1Lover Very retro and vintage
Im 139lbs and 5'8" size B cup. I fit perfectly into a small. Im usually a Medium. The skirt poofs out stiffly and gives the dress a nice weight. The jersey material top is cute and the skirt dresses it up. Its very Audrey Hepburn. I am going to wear it with opaque black tights and black ankle boots. I can pair it with a bolero for work. The lace at the bottom is see-thru and shows the knees, but the entire lace hits above the knee.
I think this dress is very vintage , cute and versatile. I also bought the statement bright yellow necklace to dress it up.
