2. I'm 5'5" tall, 132 lbs, and 36-30-39. I bought 30's. My pair from last year fit me perfectly in waist, hips, thighs and shins. The fabric just skims my body. The pair I just tried on this year in the same size are so tight in the leg that they feel like leggings. I know my shins are not any bigger than they were last year.
3. The lycra/spandex content of the jeans feels like it's more than last year as this year's pair are very stretchy. The jeans are half rayon, so they are very soft and silky feeling.
4. I think I would need to go up to a 31 this year, but I'm afraid they'll be too big in the waist.
5. Make sure to check your back and side view. I thought they looked fine from the front, but there were horizontal folds across the backs of my legs that were not flattering.

I am in love with these jeans. They are the most comfortable fit and meet all of my needs - long enough in the leg (I'm 5'7"), higher waisted (2 kids) and very comfortable (run around all day with kids).

I am so beyond glad these came back to Anthro this year and just ordered my second pair. I have been stalking the internet looking for them, and here they are!
As a long-waisted, tall girl with what is, I guess, unusual proportions, finding jeans is an absolute nightmare. Even supposedly mid-rise jeans give me both muffin top and plumbers butt. These have a high rise at 10 inches, but aren't insanely 70's high. If you have trouble finding a jean with an appropriate rise that isn't exagerrated, try these.
Like all AG jeans I've owned these are incredibly soft and are a pleasure to wear. This means the fabric is a bit more delicate. Holes were just starting to wear through on the butt almost exactly one year after I bought my first pair. I wore the heck out of them though, so I'm not passing these up a second time.
