Rated 5 out of 5 by Gorgeous embroidery I don't typically write reviews, but because the product shot and catalog shot differ so greatly, I had to chime in and submit a few pictures. First, the quality is absolutely excellent. The skirt is thick, with well-done embroidery and a substantial lining. I'm happy that it is lined because I will likely wear it with tights most of the time, and then it won't stick to my legs. As for the fit, I would say it is true to size. I am 5'10", about 140 pounds, and I took my usual size 6. It fit nicely in the waist and had a little extra room in the hips, but that's okay. I prefer the extra room around the holidays anyway. :# Regarding the cut, I would say that it is a cross between the product shot and the catalog shot. It is a slight a-line shape, not a stick-straight pencil shape like the product shot. However, it isn't as a-line as the catalog shot. Also, the little pompons hang down on the bottom of the skirt like on the product shot #not up on the body of the skirt like the catalog shot# Overall, this is a stunning skirt. I will wear it with cream, navy, black, red, grey, and will probably play around with other color combos too. I really see it as a great skirt that I can use for casual holiday gatherings. It really struck me when I saw it on a mannequin in the store as something that I had to I splurged. November 10, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by dreamy this skirt is what winter anthro dreams are made of! it's really just perfect besides the fact that it runs large and small 0's will be sized out or have to have it tailored. i'm a 0 and it's definitely big but i can make it work. the quality is exceptional, especially considering anthro's declining quality lately! i agree with other reviewers that it's a bit more a-line then in the product shot. it's also made of a pretty substantial fabric and has a nice lining with cute red stitching... overall it's a total win but size down! Rated 5 out of 5 by love it! not as straight and narrow as shown on-line; it is more A-line. Very flattering on. I had to size down one size. well made and sturdy; lined. goes with many tops. November 19, 2012

Size Guide

How to Measure

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
