by Squammy Stunning but runs SMALL!
When I first saw this dress on Anthropologie.com, I had to have it. The print is even more stunning, more brilliant, and more vivid in real life. Surprisingly, the pattern is laid out in THE EXACT SAME places as in the picture. I was also surprised to find that the peplum is intentionally asymmetrical -- not a center flat panel flanked by a flared panel on either side. It has kind of a "wrap" effect -- not a bad thing, but not what I was expecting. (Take a closer look at the photos to see what I'm talking about.) The fabric itself is very nice, high-quality, thick, and heavily-lined, which helps the peplum keep its structure and prevent any bumps from showing through. I should mention it has pretty much no stretch to it, which is important considering what I'm about to say about the sizing ...
"Finders Keepers" is an Australian designer, and if you know anything about Australian designers, you know their sizing runs crazy small. So I decided to order this dress in two sizes: the XS (my usual size at Anthro) and the S. Let me tell you, I am generally tiny -- 32-26-36 and 117 pounds -- and I could barely even pull the XS over my butt! So my advice to everyone is: SIZE UP! The SMALL does fit me, but only barely. I could easily have fit into a MEDIUM.

I really wanted this dress to wear for my wedding anniversary, but due to a slow exchange process I am out of luck. I fell in love with this dress as soon as I spotted it online. This dress runs small. I am an 6/8 in most dresses and I ordered a medium, I couldn't even get it over my lower half. Tried to exchange for a large, but well it didn't happen. So I suggest sizing up. The material is nice and well worth the price, plus its a unique design. Hopefully it comes back in stock, but won't hold my breath. Get it while you can.

So the previous reviewers weren't joking. This dress is sized really strangely. It not only runs small, the top runs about two sizes smaller than the bottom, so it really is only an option if you are tiny and pear shaped. For reference, I am 5'7'' 130lbs, 34B with a pretty straight build, and ordered a medium. I typically take a 2-4 in dresses depending on the fit. Something more structured I typically am a 4 so I thought a medium should do it. I think I would have needed an L-XL on top and then the bottom would have been huge. Also, the peplum seemed to be too large for the actual size of the dress. Overall, terribly made from a sizing perspective.
