Rated 1 out of 5 by Returning it I was excited to see this on sale, and a bit hesitant of the lack of reviews, but went for it anyway. I like the colors and was looking forward to a unique, fun trench for spring. However, it arrived and I was shocked how flimsy it was. Obviously, its a trench, not a parka but considering the original price I expected something a bit heartier. I will be returning the jacket. The colors are great, so maybe check it out in stores to see if its to your liking. January 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great colors, and liked the FRONT of it . . . This very lightweight jacket looks great from the front -- nice neckline, and the colors are saturated and well-chosen. Sadly, the side and back view fall short. The capelike piece coming down from the shoulders is a little more dramatic than I cared for, though it could be easily tacked down to the belt loop and look fine. The bigger problem was the vent at the bottom. As the model shot shows, it goes REALLY high -- like, to the small of your back. If you put your hands in the pockets, the fabric shifts and there's an awkward "oops, my jacket ripped" effect. A little stitching could probably fix that too, but for me it wasn't quite worth it. A nice piece at the sale price if you're handy with a needle and willing to work with it. It runs really small -- I'm between an XS and an S, ordered S, and it looked fine but was a little tight if I bent my elbows. It wasn't the superfunctional jacket I needed, so back it goes. Rated 4 out of 5 by Very stylish! but... I bought this to wear as a summer raincoat over business dress. The arms run too narrow for this to be worn over more than a lightweight dress. Shoulders are cut high. So you must order up a size keeping in mind that the armholes,, particularly for a coat, are cut up that high and you don't just slip into it because you have to find the arms first. I like the design front and back. Fabric is like a very lightweight ultra-suede. February 11, 2013
