Rated 4 out of 5 by It is absolutely green, not teal I had the feeling that this skirt was going to be teal-colored, like what I see on the monitor. Absolutely not. What I got is forest green, no sign of blue in there. So I was surprised, I'm not going to lie. However, it's an interesting skirt, quality is good, and I can make it work in my wardrobe. I'm 5'2'', 100lbs, and ordered XS. I'm normally a 0, XS in anthro skirts, and often I have to have skirts taken in (or I wear them lower on my hips). Not with this one, it is really an XS. This fits me, but I have to wear it at my waist, there is no way this would sit lower. December 18, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not the same color as in the picture I really like the shape of this skirt, and it looks gorgeous in the picture. My disappointment was in the color. It is not aqua/teal as it is in the photo. It is actually very green. If you like green skirts then this is for you :) but it felt like I was wearing a hula skirt, and I could not get past that, so this went back. January 1, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sits at waist This skirt is truly tailored to sit high at the waist. Because of that, there is little flexibility between sizes. I am between a 2 and a 4 and am so sad that it has o go back, because it is a high quality product with great visual interest. As other reviewers have said, it is truly green, and not at all teal. GREEN Style #:25681214 New York-based designer Samantha Pleet was inspired by the symbolism and mythology of Renaissance and Romantic paintings when designing her second Made in Kind collection, named Treasure. Relying on a vibrant color palette, graphic prints and a variety of soft, sueded and sheer fabrics, Treasure is at once timeless and modern, fluid and structured, painterly and practical. This chiffon skirt is staggered at the waist, resulting in a soft silhouette with a sloping hem. Stairways Mini Skirt
