Top has an interesting texture to it. Back is a little longer than front and can be worn tucked in or out. Didn't find fabric see through, but on lighter complexion ladies, might be a little. There is the exposed zipper at the back, which is the modern thing and fits with the design and fabric. I took a S in this top, as I'm normally a S in this label. For reference I'm 5'6, 140# 34C/28/38. There is a flowiness , so depending on your desired fit or bust, you might want to size up. No issues with drape or pulling on my pear shaped lower end.
Plan to wear with dress pants. Pencil skirt, jeans, etc.

I love this fabric so much. The burnt velvet has a retro feel and the design feel art-deco era to me.
This was too sheer for me to wear without a cami underneath, but if I were out at night and wanted a more risque look, I might wear just a black bra with this.
My one concern is the sizing. I am a small hourglass, but not "skinny" and even in an XS this is very large through the mid-section. If I hold it down at my sides, like the model, it is far more flattering. I wish it nipped in a bit more. As is, I can only envision wearing this tucked in, as untucked it makes me look very shapeless. I think the broader cut across the shoulders also adds to this widening effect. If it tapered in a bit there, perhaps this would not look so boxy.

I picked it up in store and was surprised on how perfect it fits. The fit is loose but not boxy at all and it looks good both tucked in or not. I feel it's true to size as I picked my usual XS size. I bought it for an holiday party, but I feel I could also dress it down for work after. I feel that it's a nice investment piece, that's why I bought it even if I foud it a little pricey for a cami.
