Just bought this last week - very cute cut that flatters! Fabric is soft jersey and the pattern is beautiful and subtle. I am curvy and found this perfect in the small size. (I'm 5'3", medium build) Looks so cute with black boots & a denim jacket or can be dressed up for evening! Love it!!

Although many of us don't hop skip and jump over rayon jersey, this dress's design is well-suited for the material. It stretches--just so--over all the right places, and the waist ruching helps hide the one place, at least for me, that needs to be hidden. The "large" armholes fit me just fine--not a bra sighting anywhere. This comes to an inch or so above the knee. I can wear this to work with flats (even hugging curves) or on a date with heels or in cold weather with high-heel boots and a sweater (although I think this is better-suited for warmer fall days). The medium fit TTS--I'm a consistent size 8. Very flattering

I finally ordered this dress during the recent free shipping promotion. I am petite and usually take an XS/0. Leifsdottir has in the past run small for me so I considered trying both XS and S because I didn't want a tight-fitting dress for work, plus I have a wonderful post-pregnancy stomach pooch to deal with. In the end I only ordered the XS, so this is my review of that. Length: pretty much perfect, hitting at the top of the knee (I'm a little over five feet). Bodice: as others have mentioned, the armholes are cut large so if you're small-busted then there will probably be armhole gaping. If I keep the dress I'll probably throw a cardi or blazer over it most days and that will hide the armholes. Hips: fairly slim fitting but not body-hugging. Waist area: I think the band of ruching over the waist and belly area *may* be able to help camouflage a little pooch, as long as the dress isn't too tight, but the ruching has to be adjusted now and then and has to hang just right. On me, at least. This is what makes me really undecided about the dress. I like that it's great for work - the print is pretty but not loud or distracting, and the whole thing can be dressed up or down. I could easily see it being a "go to" work dress. The material is thin and somewhat stretchy but comfortable. I wish I could try a size S just so the waist/belly area would fit a little looser but then the armholes would be way too big. This is going to be one of those dresses I agonize over, trying to justify.
