Rated 4 out of 5 by More of a Shirt than a Jacket Had I paid full price for this denim jacket I would have been disappointed. But for the sale price, it is a very unique piece. The construction feels more like a heavy duty denim shirt to me - it is unlined, and the sleeves have no buttons - so if you have wide wrists this may not work for you! Unlike other reviews, I thought the white bottom works - it is part of what makes it different (likewise, the darker denim patches). It seems to fit true to size; I purchased my usual size 2 and it fits fine. Did arrive extremely wrinkled and hopefully that won't be the way it stays! June 25, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by A terrific concept I really, really wanted this jacket to work for me. I ordered it at full price, but the size 10 was a tad tight across my 36DD chest and I just wasn't sure about how the white part at the bottom looked on me, at least from the front. I loved the look from the side, oddly enough. So, I waited and when it went on sale, I tried a 12. It was a good fit through the bust, but still, the white bothered me. I thought it might have the look of a peplum, but maybe I am too short (5'5) and it falls at the wrong place on my body. I can't quite say; it just doesn't look "right." I still like it from the side, but not from the front at all. It was wrinkled and folded in places because of the packing, and washing and pressing might end my concerns, but I cannot check that for obvious reasons. June 20, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by great style, unflattering fit I was immediately attracted to this piece because it's a unique denim jacket. It is just that but unfortunately the shape is extremely unflattering. I have a tall, slender build and usually wear a size S. The fit was fine up top but once buttoned up it billowed out like a bell on the bottom, not flattering at all. I had to return it.
