Rated 5 out of 5 by bellasimon Darling jacket, pleasantly surprised
I bought this cute jacket yesterday and must say it looks better in person (I overlooked it while shopping online). I like structural jackets with a little romantic flair, so it immediately caught my eye. I usually shy away from jackets that are not lined, but this jacket is nicely made. All of the seams have a darling blue/ white stripe binding on the interior. The material is a nice thick cotton velour with a touch of spandex. There is a small interior pocket on the left side. Due to a large bust (36DD), I take either a size 10 or 12 in Anthro jackets and size 8 in skirts/ pants. I bought the size 10 in this jacket, so it may run big on smaller/ petite frames.

I am 5'2" and a 4P. I ordered the 4P but I think I could have worn the 2P in this brand. The jacket is beautiful tailored with much detail front and back. The back is a bit full on me; it extends farther from my body than I would like, but the sleeves are perfect. I highly recommend the jacket. For quality and workmanship alone, it is stunning. For fashion style and wearability, I also say it's stunning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Yetiagogo Tailored Fitting - Rich, Cotton Velvet Waistcoat
This was a surprisingly delightful find on sale. The material is thick, warm and has many details in the cut that make this jacket a staple winter piece in my wardrobe.
The color is a rich ultramarine/midnight blue - not glossy, but not a dead flat velvet like some cotton velvets tend to be. I think it was the addition of the synthetic fibre combined with the cotton that helped the fabric lose the matte finish and give it that subtleness of depth that makes this piece so lovely to look at as well as touch.
The jacket is true to size, but please be aware that true to size does mean that it fits snugly. It is meant to be fitted and I even have to have someone help me put it on in order to achieve the fitted look that this jacket demands from me.
This jacket is not lined - it's too bad, a thin but expertly sewn silk lining would have been better - a printed lining could have lent an excellent contrast to the solid face of the jacket. The jacket only closes at one place in the center and you are easily able to peek at the inside of the jacket, especially if you wear it untied. It stays closed with a ribbon tie. I foresee the ribbon breaking or coming un-sewn from wear and tear. I know it will need to be replaced with a well stitched hook and eye closure or another ribbon etc..
Overall I recommend this product and imagine I will wear it for many winters to come.
