This is a cute day dress I bought a while ago. I always get compliments everytime I wear it. One word of caution though, when you wash this dress for the first time, the red will bleed everywhere. I usually wash my oranges and reds together to avoid this problem and it still stained most of the orange garments that were in the same load as this dress. I probably should have soaked it in vinegar first to try and keep the color. I guess I am just a little bitter that it ruined some other anthro clothes of mine. I still love the dress though.

Online, this dress lacked 'wow' appeal. So glad my local store carried it, as seeing and trying-on Anthro pieces can sometimes make all the difference. I was more impressed in the fitting room. The color is actually a deep red/berry, perhaps a shade darker than studio shots. The top is a good quality knit cotton with subtle heather coloring, while the skirt is more of a rayon-like fabric, solid in color and darker than the top section (as shown). The material is medium weight. For reference, I'm 5'4", 130 pounds, 34B and the small was a great fit. I have a small frame with a muscular backside and thighs, so I tend to gravitate toward dresses with flowy skirts. I think this dress is figure flattering and great for work or casual strolls in the city/park. Excellent piece for the fall season.

I tried this dress on today in a rush and am so glad I did. It fit perfectly! I am 5'4 128 lbs and usually wear a 4 or 6 in dresses. I tried on the small and it fit like a glove. Fitted thru the top (if you have a large bust you might have to size up, I am 32 C) and A-line flow bottom. I highly reccommend this dress! Great quality too! Can't wait to wear with tights and boots come fall!
