Rated 5 out of 5Â by Femminista Perfect Spring-to-Summer Dress
Great quality in terms of the the cut; I am slightly pear shaped, and I was not sure about the drop waist. However, the dress is cut very well and the quality shows in the way it hangs. I chose to order a size up; and I prefer the shape it creates (no bagging around the hips).
In comparison to Karen Walker's other dresses, I would say this runs more "true to size" (My experience is that many of her dresses are cut small in the rib-cage)
One minor negative: the top portion of the dress is VERY thin. You will def. need some sort of slip or cami.

I love love love this dress...lusted after it the minute I saw it. And now I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear it. The top part of the dress is not lined and be weary, the bottom is a bit voluminous, so size down! Overall, beautiful design and wonderful construction.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by TNreviewer beautiful but huge!
I should have listened to other reviewers but when I ordered the dress they only had size 2 or 8 in stock. I'm normally an 8 and figured it couldn't be that big... but I am swimming in this dress. It literally runs two sizes larger than it should. (for comparison I am 5'6", 130 lbs).
The material at the top is thin, something other reviewers also noted. For 300 dollars it should be lined. Despite this, I am returning the dress for a smaller size (there is currently a 4 available) and will buy a navy tank to wear under it.
