Rated 5 out of 5 by This dress got so me so many compliments! The colors are bright and pretty and the style of the dress was easy for different looks. I purchased the 8 because of reviews, when I usually wear a 6 but it gives me room to eat! I added a slip from last year which peeks out of the bottom for a feminine look and heels and then without with flats. It hits above my knees. I am 5'2" but my waist is high so it works great. I will continue to wear this with a cardi in the fall. September 8, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by This dress is misleading I thought this dress would be the perfect graduation dress--unique, well-fitted, and very very me. Though the price was a little high, I decided to buy the dress sight unseen off of the internet. I went for overnight shipping and stalked the UPS man, because I was so excited to try it on. This dress disappointed from the moment I took it out of the box.The pink is far more washed out than in the picture. It is poorly made and is poorly shaped. The skirt is unlined and the bodice is oddly loose. I am 5'2 and 110 pounds--I generally wear a 0-2 in Anthropologie sizing--yet this dress absolutely did not fit me. Perhaps I am more disappointed than usual because I was looking for the perfect graduation dress; however, this dress is not worth its price. May 11, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Perfect Good for short and busty. Flattering to blondes, browns, red heads, olive toned skins. Infused with warmer tones. (I would love to see a red head in this dress. Gorgeous.) This is a bit of an Aubrey Hepburn look. A full but flattering skirt. Sits on natural waist. Easy to walk in. Does not add bulk because of where pleats fall from. Short length. (I'm 5'3 and found it at knee cap). Looks great with ballet flats. Also try a belt. V-Neck is not too long and armhole sleeves not too deep! I love wearing a bangle with bare arms like this. Fabric is 70% Rayon, 30% Silk. Ends up looking like a natural weave silk, but a bit easier to care for than silk or rayon. Doesn't wrinkle as much. Fabric seems perfect for summer. No shine. No lining on bottom, which is fine for me in a summer skirt. Didn't find colour transparent. Pockets. I wouldn't say this is my favourite Anthropologie dress ever, but I've been a customer for a decade and have a lot of very wonderful lacy silk frocks from them. This would be a good bet for Sunday brunch, summer cocktails out, office dress. Probably not fancy enough for something like a graduation. This is a very wearable dress though. I think it's a bargain at this price. It's a bit flat and disappointing when it comes out of the ship packaging and you've got to play with it a bit. Definitely needs a steam or a dry clean before you get a feel for how nicely the skirt will fall. Someone said they threw on a full slip under this...I can see that. But it would have to be a smooth slip. No tulle or fabric would catch. August 22, 2012
