I ordered this shirt specifically because it was advertised in the details section of the Anthropologie website as being USA-made rather than imported. It arrived today, and the label says, "Made in China." I can't justify spending 90 bucks for a shirt that could very well have been made by the same low-paid garment workers as shirts of similar quality and style made for discount clothing companies.

I liked a lot of things about this shirt. The fabric is unbelievably soft – softer than any other chambray shirt I have tried – and it drapes very beautifully. I am not normally a fan of hi-lo, but on this one it was unobtrusive. I love how the ombre looks on the rolled-up sleeves.
However, as another reviewer noted, I would have had to size up for modesty, and that would have sacrificed the lovely shape around my waist and hips. Not a new story, but as usual, if you are a busty girl you'd better try this on in store, first. The color also did not end up doing it for me, but that's a matter of personal taste. I wish it came in a darker wash.
I'm excited that Anthro is carrying this designer, though! Will definitely be keeping my eyes open for them, in the future.

This is my new favourite chambray, its so soft and the ombre look to the top is such a casual statement. I love pairing this with my pilcro serif ponte leggings and blushed paducah scarf.
I normally take a medium in tops, and I had to size up to a large for it to button up comfortably over my bust.
