The waist is disproportionate to the rest of the pant. I am a true 26, in fact I own 6+ pairs of AG denim in a 26 and all fit fine. On these the waist is very large and the legs were a bit baggy, if they stretched they would be too baggy, not the slim baggy fit I was hoping for. I would recommend sizing down, I decided to skip them altogether.

I ordered the 17 Year Salvation but Anthropologie sent me these by mistake. As the other reviewer stated the waist on these is HUGE in comparison to the rest of the jean. The thighs were tight on me and my thighs are normal to thin. I did like the darker distressed denim if only they had left off the lighter blotches that look like someone randomly touched the denim with fingers moistened with bleach. I am normally a big fan of AG, but I wouldn't pay $50 for this pair, let alone the asking price of $225.

I absolutely love the AG Nikki. They are exactly what they are supposed to be. While some of the other reviews stated the waist was too big- these are intended to be a slouchy relaxed fit denim, which means you may have to size down. I stayed with my regular size 28 and I loved the relaxed fit. The denim is a great quality and extremely comfortable. It's a steep price for denim, but I highly recommend them! I love AG's and these are currently my most favorite denim I've ever bought from them!
