I am a huge, huge fan of MiH jeans (and I was before you were, Gwyneth, with your exclusive MiH jeans for sale on your site!). I am so glad to see that Anthro is carrying MiH. I'd never heard of them until I randomly found a pair at the Salvation Army. And since then, I've been hooked.
Like all the other MiH jeans, the Paris crops are very well made, from sturdy fabric that supports you, shapes you, covers any lumps and bumps, but is still comfortable enough to wear all day long. I seriously don't understand how MiH does this. Other jeans from other companies are made with tencel and softening materials that make the pants comfortable, but also prone to damage. That's not the case with MiH. Somehow, their products are carefully cut and tailored and made with superb materials that mean their jeans will last and last--which is what jeans were once upon a time intended to do (like, when people did things like go to the Gold Rush).
As for the Paris specifically--it's a clever design. The leg flares out just slightly at the bottom, unlike the AG Stevies, so your leg looks longer. I am self conscious about my legs because they are short and muscular. The Paris disguises this. I even wear my Paris Crops with flats, which I almost never do with other pants (due to short legs). The rise is perfect and I never have any gapping by my waist.
One small quibble--sizing can sometimes be all over the map with MiH. I usually take a 26 with the Paris jeans--here I'm sizing up to a 27.
Fingers crossed that the jeans and the brand take off. I'm not a shill (I swear--see Salvation Army story above), but I hope the brand succeeds because they make such a great product.

These jean "slacks" are out of this world. The wash is beautiful and they are superb quality. I am petite (5'1) and the length of these pants hits right at my ankle bone. The rise of the pants is perfect; about two finger widths below the belly button- they are extremely flattering. I have been searching for the "perfect" pants and this may be them! I call them "slacks" because of the wash, pocket style, and slight pleat down the front of the leg. I am a teacher, and plan on wearing these to school. Even though they are tight fitting, they look really professional.
They run TTS, maybe a little bit on the smaller side. I am usually a 24/25 (preferably petite) and I ordered a 24. The 24 is a bit tight at the waist but not in an uncomfortable way- however, someone else may prefer to size up in these.
I plan on ordering the MiH "Boston" jeans now!

Love these- can't find any slim jeans i like tried them all too. till these, I am 5'4" 112 small boned 35 in hip 27 in waist and the 27 fits perfect snug but not too tight, like the model. I tried the aviater on in store and liked from back but not the front- these look good from all angles- am delighted. Will be looking for mih again for sure. Nice firm heavy weight denim too. highly recommended!!!
