Rated 4 out of 5 by Superfluous Zip-Up This piece is very similar to the Superfluous Bellows Hoodie that came out around the same time last year. The fit is very similar as well although I thought the Hoodie ran a bit smaller. I am typically an XS and am wearing a Small in the Rose and an XS in the Neutral. I would size up for this one. The arms are suffocatingly tight, but feel better on the larger size. They are also quite long, but can be cuffed at the wrist. The material is pretty thin so my bra lines show in the back of my TTS size. I wish the ruching went all the way around to disguise any evidence of muffin, but it doesn’t. I’m not wearing a top under this so if you want to layer more than a very thin tee it may be necessary to size up two. The length was perfect for me, but a person with a really long torso may not like this piece. My zipper did get caught on the ruching once. Having a larger bust, I'm not a fan of tops that have a line indicating where my bust should be as I usually fall a bit below it. The same thing happened with this top. I was able to tug it down, but as I walked around it rode back up. If that bothers you keep this in mind. *This top is MUCH tighter than it appears in the pics. See, especially, the arms. Rated 4 out of 5 by It ALMOST came home with me.... I would have snapped this up at full price had it not been for the zipper which, unless one has prefect posture, has a tendency to pucker at mid-belly (a glaring issue when sitting), negating the excellent camouflage effect of the horizontal crinkling. I found the fit very flattering for a 34B, somewhat hour-glass, NOT toned, middle aged figure at 5'5", 128lbs. (I am normally a size small/4 but sized up to a medium, in the "neutral" color, an off white, fit perfectly). In addition to the zipper issue, had a bit of a problem with the fact that the fabric is very thin, which although the front and collar are a double layer of fabric (making it very comfortable), the back is a single layer (making it see-through), as are the sleeves. (I don't mind sleeves being a single layer as long as the thickness is the same throughout the bodice.) As others have noted, size up at least once and there is little give to pull up the sleeves. Not certain how the zipper puckering could be solved as a two-way zipper would defeat the look (except one could then unzip the bottom part when when sitting, hint hint to Anthro). Otherwise, very tempting. March 8, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by It's BAAAAACK! For those of us who loved the Superfluous Bellows Hoodie that sold out last year.....this is back with a vengeance in this new design by Deletta. The texture and weight is the same as the SBH. I purchased the Rose, which is a medium rich pink tone. It fits true to size. It's amazingly flattering with the ruching around the waistline that reaches the bust line enhancing any shape. I purchased the medium which has the same fit as the SBH. Again, I wish they offered this in more colors. This will be another sell out! Anthro, keep offering variations on this one....This one will be another customer favorite. Everyone needs a charming zip-up! March 5, 2012
