Rated 5 out of 5 by Gift worthy I bought this brush (Handy, mixed bristle) about 2 years ago and I love it so much I've decided I'm going to give them as gifts this year. I know, it's a hair brush, but it's definitely a splurge, so what better to give as a gift than something you wouldn't buy for yourself? This may sound strange, but I don't need to wash my hair as often because the brush distributes the natural oils down the hair shafts, leaving it smoother and shinier, as close to a blow-out without the hair dryer or iron. I have very thick, long hair, and it keeps my hair under control, not frizzy. Note: the manufacturer doesn't recommend using with a hot blow dryer, because it will degrade the rubber over time. So, if that's a necessary for you, you may not want to invest in this brush. November 14, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by the much praised Mason Pearsonhairbrush I love reading fashion and beauty magazines and I have often read stylists singing praises of the Mason Pearson hairbrush. Now that my hair is past my shoulders after growing it out from a pixie cut I decided to see what all the fuss is about. Antho is offering two models, both of which are made of a mix of nylon and boar bristles, which the company recommends for normal to thick hair. I ordered the pocket brush because I wanted to see if the brush is worth it before ordering the more expensive full-size model. The pocket size is definitely a pocket brush. The total length is just over 6 inches long, perfect for tucking into a purse. The handy brush is 8 and 1/2 inches long. I am still in disbelief that I paid $100 for a hairbrush but it really does feel nice to use. April 3, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by quality brush but not worth the price I read about Mason Pearson's legendary hairbrush when Drew Barrymore's stylist mentioned it in Lucky Magazine and had been debating over purchasing since. I finally decided to buy after receiving a gift card. While it's a high quality brush and does a good job, I just don't see how it's worth the money. My hair looks good but it's not amazing. Would recommend if you have extra cash but I wouldn't say it's totally worth the investment. July 24, 2014
