If you are looking for beautiful bowls these are definitely it! However, they are completely inaccurate as a measuring tool. The 1/4 cup is only slightly off but a measured 1/3 cup falls an 1/8" below the line on the bowl, and a measured 1/2 cup falls a full 1/4" below the line- that is a very big difference! The one cup measurement is the only accurate one. I would agree with the other reviews that there should be an improvement made by removing the measuring lines and making a set that measures exact to size- that would make them easier to use.
I guess I will be using them as little serving bowls instead!

I have these out on my counter because they're too pretty to put in the cupboard! I use them when I need approximate amounts, like 1 cup of walnuts in the brownies, and it doesn't matter if I'm off a bit. The line to measure is under the lip of the cup, and you couldn't measure flour or anything very precisely because it's difficult to take away the excess. That being said, I like to use these for condiments when I have people over, sometimes as small nutbowls with my cheese platter, and misc uses. Quality is good, I've had them quite a while, except one did chip and I'm kind of bummed about that. I'm sure it was my fault though. Overall, I recommend if you're not concerned about accuracy. Not a baker's tool.

Had to have these the moment I saw them and then bought an extra set as a gift. Such a great way to have measuring cups that are not the usual stainless or plastic!
One callout - I wish the entire cup was the amt of the measurement so I could more easily measure dry ingredients, but for liquid ingredients these can't be beat!
