Rated 4 out of 5 by Cute jacket! I was eyeing this jacket online for awhile but I wanted to try it on first because of the reviews mentioning the sizing. I didn't see it in the store but I asked the sales associate about it anyway. They actually happened to have a few left in the back in red! I'm glad I asked! I'm usually a size 2 and I tried a 2. It does run small (tight in shoulders, why I gave 4 stars.) I can just close the two hook and eyes next to the two front detail buttons which looks cute. I wouldn't wear this all the way closed anyway and it is most flattering left open. I also tried a 4 but it wasn't as slimming on me. I want the green too but will have to wait until it's on sale!! Rated 4 out of 5 by ladies with short torsos will need the petite size This jacket is really lovely, but I agree with other reviewers that it runs small. 5'2", 105 pounds, 32A-26-32, normally wear 0 or XS, and I tried this on in a 2. I could just hook it closed. It looked really bad on me though because of my short torso. The band in the middle is supposed to hit at your natural waist, and it hit me a couple of inches below mine. Also, it is supposed to fit close to your body, so the seams for the bust were actually right below my boobs making me look like I had 4 boobs. The sleeves were just a bit long on me and tight at the openings. Totally love the braided trim though, and the fact that this jacket is lined. Maybe I'll try ordering this in 2P. March 9, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cute but tricky to wear Based on some of the other reviews, I would agree this jacket looks wonderful in the photos but is surprisingly hard to find the right fit. Notice that none of the photos show the jacket fully closed. It closes with the hooks all the way up, and I found that fully closed it takes on a strangely stiff, marching band uniform-esque style, because of the piping and detailing - not attractive to me or on my body. It is definitely much prettier open, which is why I suspect it runs small, because it really doesn't show best when closed. if you are not small busted you will probably have trouble closing the jacket, and even then in my opinion it doesn't look that flattering. It's also cropped, which makes it a challenge to medium to long torsos. I normally wear a 0, and the size 0 was tight across the shoulders, and the waist hit way too high on my long torso. The 2 was better lengthwise but still a little tight when closed. The 4 finally had enough room up top, but when I wore it open it was too wide and made me look boxy. I think I would end up wearing a 2 without closing it. This is also a very lightweight jacket - the inside is lined, but not the sleeves, so it's really not going to keep you very warm - it's meant more as a light topper than a real jacket. Considering the thinness of the material and the difficult fit, it's hard to me to justify purchasing this at full price. Maybe when it goes on sale I can see buying it to spice up my wardrobe, but it's not the home run I was hoping it would be. March 16, 2013

Size Guide

How to Measure

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
