Rated 5 out of 5 by Gorgeous dress I absolutely love this dress. The quality is excellent- I like that the fabric is quite thick because I think, given the form fitting style, it makes it more flattering (i.e. it doesn't cling unattractively anywhere). I do agree that the bow is hard to re-tie (I actually couldn't get it to look good myself, but luckily my bf managed to tie it nicely for me!), but the beautiful print and fabric more than make up for that in my mind. Also, it fits TTS. I was a bit worried because it looked quite small when I pulled it out of the box, but I am usually a size 4, and the 4 fit well. December 3, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Tailored Dress I had been eyeing this dress since it appeared online some months ago because I was slightly familiar with this brand and loved the repeating, but not overwhelming print. Needless to say, however, based on the reviews, even at the sales price I could not convince myself to purchase this dress. Luckily for me, however, as I was returning home today I stopped in one of my local Anthro's and there just happened to be an online return in what I thought would most likely be my size, and I am here to say that this is a gorgeous dress that I would highly recommend to others, The Good: The fit is nicely tailored with both the top and bottom provided a structured, form fitting silhouette without hugging your body in a manner that shows any and all flaws or imperfections you may have. I found this dress to run TTS for my size in most Anthro brands, which is an 8 and the print/pattern was just as gorgeous online as in person. In addition, I had little to no problem tying the bow in a manner that looks as it does online. In addition, the fabric very substantial and overall the dress seemed well made. The Bad: Although as I stated above that I really liked the tailored fit I did find the top portion of the dress to be slightly tighter than the bottom portion and felt that the dress did definitely accentuate my hips (not necessarily in an unflattering way, but accentuated nonetheless). In addition, while I did not have a problem tying the bow itself, I was slightly concerned that throughout the day, I may find myself re-tying the bow a few times. In conclusion, if you are on the fence I would say to at least order the dress and give it a try, especially if you enjoy sheath dresses in particular as this one does not disappoint! Rated 5 out of 5 by So happy I took a chance on this dress! I understand why some of the other reviewers had reservations about this dress, but they did not impinge on my enjoyment of it. First, I should say that, despite my nickname, I am now a size 6 petite, although still slightly larger on the bottom than on the top. On the advice of several reviewers, I did size up to an 8 (Thank you, fellow Anthro shoppers!) and it was a good decision. The waist fits TTS, the hips are just a tad loose, which I like, and the bodice is a touch too long, which is a constant with me, as I am a petite. I did not find the bow difficult to retie, and, despite my 32D chest, do not feel that it over-emphasizes my bust. The fabric is substantial and it is well-made and gorgeous. My husband nearly fell over when I tried it on for him- he said I looked like a fashion model----- I know better, but it was nice to hear! February 9, 2013

Size Guide

How to Measure

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
