Rated 4 out of 5Â by perfectionist beautiful color and design, but thin fabric
As soon as this dress showed up online, I purchased it since I like the green color so much. I am 5'5 and about 116lbs. The fit of size 4 is perfect. The color is really pretty. The sheer silk layer looks nice, but it seems very thin and fragile. The silk threads are loosely weaved into the fabric, so it needs to be handled carefully. I put it on and off a few times, then I noticed the threads were either pushed together or pushed away from each other by my fingers. Good thing that I was able to push them back to where they should be. I put on a pair of gloves to handle this dress because I was afraid that some of the thread would be pulled by my nails if there were any sharp edges.
There was another problem with the bust darts. The right side formed a sharp point which points out from the chest. It just didn't look good. I was able to sew it a bit more to smooth out the shape. Now it doesn't look like I have a pointy cone from one of my breasts. I guess this probably varies dress by dress since the dart from my left side looks just fine, but I had to sew a little more to match up the fix I did to the right side.
Anyways, it is a beautiful dress, very feminine. It would be better if the silk used were less fragile as the one used.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by moxieLA Sizing runs small
I loved this dress the second I saw it. I am a pretty standard size 12 and ordered that size. The dress ran small through the bust and ribcage. In fact, I couldn't even zip it. It was roomy everywhere else. Too bad, it's beautiful!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Profette Pretty Perfect Retro Jewel
This dress is gorgeous. Silky green waves of color flowed nicely, accenting curves and hiding, well... what you want it to. I'm not a small lady - at almost 6'. But it was very flattering and got a ton of good press from the finicky friend corps- length was just right (of course I'm tall). The fringy texture at the bottom is made up of green lace stripping, which doesn't really show up. It's every bit as lovely in person and actually reads a bit more jewel tone- lovely. Any metallic high heeled shoe goes really well. Wasn't quite sure what to do about the belt. Would love other suggestions- went with the grey satin for now. Big retro necklaces and wavy curls work wonders with this one.
The cons: It runs small. I mean it. I'm usually an 8 or 10 and went a 12 in this to make sure I could dance comfortably without worrying that the fabric would pull or get damaged. I'd say generally size up one size. This probably isn't for the top heavy. I run the other way so I was ok, but the opaque part of the top is a little low. Have a good strapless at the ready. I do think it looks better with a little curve inside though, for what it's worth!
This will be a dress I wear and wear and rewear. Enjoy!
