Rated 5 out of 5 by GORGEOUS!!! I am a fan of Royal Apothic's perfumes- the packaging is beautiful and the scents are rich and unique, and let me be the first to say that they have really outdone themselves this time!! At first glance I didn't really know what to expect from a Carnation perfume since the flowers themselves don't really smell, but this scent is absolutely stunning. It is light and floral but strong enough to stand alone as a winter fragrance. I am always instantly attracted to Royal Apothic's beautiful packaging and I am so happy to add this to my vanity. I have found my new signature scent! Can't wait to try more!! Thank you Anthropologie and Royal Apothic!!! November 12, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hot house peony I tried a lot of these in store & hot house peony was my favorite. For reference, I tend to like warm&spicy fragrances such as alien & tf black orchid. This is listed as a fresh fragrance but I also think it has some spicy undertones. The packaging is beautiful, and it comes in a quality wooden box. But the cap is ceramic and is super hard to pull off, way harder than it should be. Also, I find this perfume only lasts about 2 hours on the skin which for me is a deal breaker. Love the scent & packaging but will probably return due to it having no lasting power. December 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great sultry scents The store had testers for the peonie, rose, carnation and thistle. Since I am very finicky when it comes to fragrance, I was very surprised when I liked all of the scents, one right after the other! They all had a nice woodsy, sultry quality about them, which I do like in my perfumes. Just be wary of the cap. Maybe it was because of the abuse of being testers, but all of the chalky caps were flaking off and breaking a bit. But very pretty bottles. December 20, 2012
