Rated 3 out of 5 by graha I bought both the shampoo and conditioner after moving to a place with hard water which damaged my already fine hair. The first few times I used this product I loved it and it was really the only product that could maintain soft hair with the hard water (it also really does make hair shine). So on this level, yes, I would recommend this product. However, I had to discontinue using it after it started to affect my skin. I've never had acne in my life and all of a sudden I was breaking out all over my face. This is a very oily shampoo, so I would be careful with it in this regard. a week after I stopped using it my skin returned to normal. If this isn't an issue for you, it is otherwise a good product.

I wish more people would review this product. I spent the last few years purchasing and experimenting with more expensive products and shampoos/conditioners, however, I hate to name names, but a product that is very popular out there and expensive that is like something that makes a bzzzzing noise ;) started to ruin my hair. I used to use Herbal Essences or Bedhead products as a teen and in college, but those BB products I started using really ruined my hair. It looked like a horse's mane (so my sister so bluntly put it) and looked like I had burnt it with fire, literally, and typically I always have beautiful, health,y thick, hair. Or maybe it was the Keratin treatment, who knows. But once I stopped using those products for the most part, my hair is finally back to normal. So I want to try this, but I want some more reviews to see if it's worth it first!

Rated 5 out of 5 by INSPIREDak I am on speaking terms with my hair/scalp again
First off, I live in pretty harsh weather conditions so my hair and scalp need all the moisture they can get. On top of that, I have very sensitive skin and it carries over to my scalp. I had an unbearable case of dry scalp and nothing worked longterm. I tried the scalp focused lines of Head and Shoulders, Selsum Blue, Redken, Nioxin, Kevin Murphy, Giovanni, et cetera... literally everything. I even did a baking soda/vinegar rinse as a substitute for shampoo/conditioner and slept with jojoba oil in my scalp every night for awhile.
I saw the Rahua line on Anthro and had never heard of it before. I did some research and decided to give into my sinful tendency of buying things all the time. I used both the shampoo and conditioner and after the first use, my scalp was whole again. I was skeptical and used it for another two weeks to observe the longterm effects of the duo. Still good. It has been over two months and I am a believer. Yes, it is pricey, but do not waste your money on products that almost work and simply leave harmful chemicals clogged in your pores. This stuff works and it is really all natural. I do not mind paying for quality and fairness in a product as long as it delivers.
My medium length, ultra thick, uncolored, slightly coarse brown hair is shiny, bouncy, and most importantly healthy. The one limitation is that the shampoo and conditioner makes my hair oily more quickly. It might be hard to get used to at first, but at least my hair is moisturized. :)
I cannot quite explain the scent... It is warm and buttery. Definitely not floral or fruity, but more woodsy.
I wish I had a lifetime supply...
