Great heavier-weight dress to wear year-round. Sleeves are just the right length, cut through the bodice is very flattering, and the skirt is fun but sophisticated. In person, the dress actually appears to be black-based with a white pattern (online it looks to have a lot more white than it actually does).
My only complaint is size. I am almost always a size 2 in A-line or full-skirt dresses like this one, but the 0 is still loose under my bust and in the arm holes, showing my bra a bit. My measurements are 34-26-36 for reference.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by SarahEliza Beautiful dress, but petite sizing is off
I was surprised when I saw this gorgeous beauty in the stores. I don't think I'd have ever chosen it from the online picture, but in person it has a great classic, vintage look. I tried a 0 (I am 5'2", 95 lbs, 32C). For a non-petite dress, the length was actually great, hitting a few inches above the knees. The top was just a bit loose, so I decided to try my luck with the 0P online hoping for a better fit. Unfortunately, the petite version had the exact same width of bust area, though the skirt was now ridiculously short. I would end up flashing an entire room if I tried to raise my arms. The 0P is going back and I think I will pick up the regular size 0. I am so incredibly happy Anthro is carrying all of the new petite sizes. However, with this dress the hem falls too short.

Every once in a while a dress comes along that is perfect in the simplicity of its style, fabrication and execution and looks as if a little dressmaker whipped it up just for you. You will immediately know all the places it will go and what accessories will make that happen (lady-like pump or boots and tights). Such is the Jaquard Circle Skirt dress. How I wish the writers had thought a little harder to conjure up a better name! The picture also does not do justice as the model appears a little hunched over. The skirt moves beautifully but is not a square-dance circle by any means. The firm weight of the fabric keeps everything smooth over the high waisted bodice. The cap sleeves are long enough for those who don't like their jiggles. Fits fairly generously. I'm a 0 or 2 pear shape and chose the 0.
