I've had my eye on this pendant for awhile, for its simplicity and slight lean towards Nat. American art. But the reviews kept me from springing for the first unrealistic price. (Anthropologie, please!)
I agree with the other reviewers-- pretty much what you see in the photo above is what I got : the cheap materials-- mostly plastic, metal and wood, and the way the beads don't necesarily line up with their wood back-ground. The pearls on mine are longer on one side than the other, and yes, the chain looks like it's from the 1970's. But I have to say, in spite of its faults, it does add some flair to my T-shirts and such. I've decided to keep it, just for the novelty. If you want good quality, however, be prepared to send this baby back.

I bought this necklace for the pendant...NOT so much for the "chain" it's attached to. I plan to remove it and put it on a gold wire. The chain that comes with this necklace is thick and reminds me of a spandex watch band (except it doesn't stretch). It's gold and rather off color...not shiny. The problem with this particular chain is that is looks like it's supposed to be shiny, but cheap and tarnished instead. If I hadn't liked the pendant so much (it looks much better in person than in the picture), I would have definitely passed this one by.

This could have been a really cute necklace...but it looks like a 5 year old glued it together!!! The gem in the middle is crooked...there are flaws on some of the stones....I can see glue...sooo disappointing. Buying jewelry online was apparently a bad idea.
