Rated 4 out of 5 by Izzy Too small for q-tips!
Based on the previous review, I added this to a recent order to in hopes of using it in my bathroom. I intended on storing q-tips in it, but it's too short & the q-tips stick up above the top, so you wouldn't be able to use the lid. I'll have to exchange it for either the baker's jar or chemist's jar. I wouldn't recommend buying it to store cotton balls in either as you'd only be able to fit a couple in it - the jar is quite small. It's very cute though, and well-made.

I have this jar sitting on my antique dresser and it looks as if they belong together. I have filled mine with my favorite scented body butter (thick moisturizer), and since the jar fits loosely (doesn't screw on--just sits on top), it's easy to reach in for a dollop of lotion. The glass is a good quality--thick and beautifully etched and the brass top has a antique patina--LOVE this jar! Practical and pretty.

I bought this for q-tips, but it is a little short. The jar and top look nice on a brown marble counter with oil rubbed bronze hardware. As long as the jar isn't full of q-tips, they fit with the top on. The q-tips have to be at a slight angle for the top to go on. Overall, just about perfect. If there were a coordinating soap dispenser and toothbrush holder, we would definitely purchase them.
