The tote is beautiful but it lacked a few things. The handles were way too short to be used over the shoulder so it was more of a forearm hold deal. The cross body strap was just too long for me (and I'm 5'8) and there is no way to actually shorten it. Also, it has no lining and no inside pocket except for the little bag that is attached to it. And it is smaller than it looks. Room for essentials only and not much more. The quality of the leather is amazing but it didn't make up for the "lacks" that I found in it. Unfortunately this was a no go for me and off it went back.

I give this bag an overall four star for two design flaws- one is that the shoulder strap is not adjustable, which is a bummer if you are not tall- the bag hang too long on the side. The create-a-knot on top method does not look good with the width of this bag. The second flaw is that the description says it has an inner zip pocket, which is incorrect, it has a seperate zip pouch as shown on picture, not a sewn. In my opinion it is not as convienient to use. The leather quality seems good and the color is certainly bright. The overall shape is modern yet will endure for years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BooksandBraids Exactly what I expected
I was little nervous about buying this purse, but after viewing more pictures of Clare Vivier's bags, I decided it was right for me. I got the green and it is absolutely beautiful and unavialable anywhere else online. The strap is long, but I am 5' 6'' and it was the length I like when in the crossbody position ( It hits just at/slightly below by butt). The bag is large enough to fit my nook and other large accessories without a problem. The leather is the softest leather I have ever felt/seen, but I am nervous about the effects of rain/damage to the bag since it does not have a lining. Overall, a splurge, but a beautiful "take-everywhere and everything" bag. Perfect for work and weekends.
