Rated 4 out of 5 by I fell in love with this designers dresses the minute they popped up on line! In fact I purchased two of their dresses! I was shocked at the heaviness of the "silk noil" and when I tried this dress on, I was not as in love with it as much as the way I loved it on the model. I almost took it back but decided on keeping it. It looks more softer and flowy on the model and slimming but in real life, it did not hang quite as nice as in the picture and I felft that it added weight to the hips. I found this TTS and word of warning you can't wear a bra with it. October 23, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by I initially bought the medium in this dress for a wedding. I also felt this ran a size larger (at least than I expected). At 5'6", 132lbs (ish) with 36A chest and 29" waist, it was too big (maybe 1/2 - 3/4" on both sides) all around the bodice. I reordered and will try the small. The skirt reaches to just above my ankle bone and the waist band (for once) is actually at my true waist hurrah - I have a slightly longer torso and usually avoid anything with a defined waist at Anthro as it often hits my ribcage. The silk noil is indeed nubby and heavy, personally I love it. The bodice is (charcoal) black, not a dark navy. I think I will be wearing a bra under it, it may be tricky to find something that doesn't show at the cut outs but not impossible. The design is so simple and clean. I love the interplay of materials and the cut outs add that little bit of edginess. I'm also telling myself that with something to cover up the top half, it can work as a silky skirt so it's not just an 'Event Dress'. It says machine wash cold, line dry but it CAN be dry cleaned. Hope this helps - buying clothing that's exclusively online is tricky! November 15, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by A little Large I loved every bit of this dress.. except the fit. I am 5'4 and 105 pounds and I ordered the XS. This dress was just a little large in every area. If I were a little taller, it would have been perfect. Although I had to return it, the dress was very well made and great for various occasions. November 15, 2012

Since opening in 2008, Los Angeles-based boutique Tenoversix has become a mecca for those seeking an eclectic-yet-curated mix of apparel and home goods. Owners Kristen Lee and Brady Cunningham began their own apparel line shortly thereafter to round out the designs there were buying for the gallery-like store. Their calling card? Fashion-forward basics with clean lines and timeless appeal, like this mixed-silk maxi dress. We love the architecture of the revealing-but-not-too cutouts at the sides, and the deep keyhole back.
