 by ingrid Fall-Winter dress
This dress is made of a thick fabric that is more suitable for fall/winter. Definitely not a fabric that I'd want to wear in California 80+ temperature. Still, it would be my go-to dress in fall-winter. Unfortunately, the waist is cut high (as usual with anthro dresses), it lays about 1" above my natural waist. Perhaps on someone with a smaller bust, the dress would fit much more flattering.
measuring 41-31-41 and generally a 14 in Anthro dresses, the size Large fit with plenty of room in the mid section. i tried belting it but it didn't look great because of where the waist is placed on the dress. it just looked and felt awkward.
i recommend the dress, but those of us with a fuller bust, might want to try it on before making the purchase.

I wanted to love this dress so bad. It is extremely comfortable and well-made, and the pattern is super cute. However, the waist hit far too high on my body. I have fairly large, lower situated breasts, and they took up so much room that the waist hit at the empire, instead of the natural waist. And, because the skirt is so full, it made me look like a little girl instead of a woman.
It's a real shame, because it's beautiful. I would highly recommend sizing down - the material is quite stretchy, and even without needing the stretch except in the chest, I was able to size down to a L from an XL (usually size 16/18, curvy with a small waist). Just beware if you have larger ladies to try on first.

Somehow this model manages to make this dress look dowdy and ill fitting. But it's not! I bought it in store today and absolutely love it. It has no fasteners (it's jersey/knit, so it just slips on over your head. The fabric has a slight texture and great weight to it that makes it seem much fancier. It seems like a great traveling dress! Difficult to wrinkle, easy to dress up, and goes with anything.
It seems to run pretty large - I bought it in an XS and it's on the relaxed fit side, despite being 5'11"/150lbs.
