Rated 5 out of 5 by A special piece of art I love any sort of art that features animals, and this papier-mache rhino bust has it all: its size makes a statement while the material (pages of French text) keeps it from overwhelming the space when hung on a neutral wall. Plus, I love that the company that makes it is working to create jobs and promote recycling in Haiti. And $68?! A steal. June 5, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by love it! Looks great over my son's bed. It is lightweight as well so I felt ok hanging it over his bed. It adds a touch of whimsy yet sophistication and fun to his room. October 18, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Inspirational I got this and hung it in my house over the summer and then I took it to my class room. I teach high school art. It was very inspirational to the kids when the time came to do paper mache. But I hung it way up high because it's not really paper mache built around an armature. It's more of a cardboard form completely hollow with a layer of french text decoupaged over the top. Which means it's light and very uniform. But anyway, my students found it incredibly inspirational and turned in the best paper mache projects this year. Including a wildly detailed surrealistic purple octopus that's about three feet high and 6 feet wide and deep. December 15, 2010
